Loving Lately in Almost-July

Scrabble letters nestled in hanging terraniums, an interview covering the beginnings of The Hall collection by Typo, Sibella Court’s bowerbird-esque nest (aka home tour with The Design Files) and some beautiful typographic prints…things I’m loving lately in almost-July :)

1. I usually go out of my way to find things on Etsy that ship to Australia…but sometimes I click past something so gorgeous on my travels that I can’t resist sharing it even if we can’t get it shipped to our corner of the world.  These little terrariums from Hammersheels are just that. The photography…the little touches like the scrabble pieces…chopsticks are even included to help you arrange your terrarium just how you’d like it! 

2. Do you love Typo as much as I do? Nothing like a store that helps feed a stationery habit like mine…which can now, with their release of The Hall range, can also feed your homewares habit as well! Came across this interview on Show and Tell that I thought you might like…thanks Brooke!

3. Lucy and her delicious team do it again…I clipped this home tour of Sibella Court and Ben Harper from the Design Files before I even scrolled past the first picture because I knew I would love it *that* much. To see how someone like Sibella, with such epic but unique style, would decorate her own home…it’s the perfect read for design junkies like us :) Exactly as you would imagine…lots of corners filled with eclectic bowerbird-like collections…moody deep colours mixed in with splashes of white subway tiles and industrial accents. A must browse :) Sean Fennessy…your photography rocks!

4. To make up for including a pick that doesn’t ship to Australia earlier, here’s one that ships free Australia wide. Pen Friend is a store that sells prints of beautifully scripted quotes in white on black, and black on white. From A5 to A3, no matter what space you’re aiming to fill on your wall…you’re sorted. Anyone who describes herself as infatuated with typography & captivating words is instant inspiration to me…love your stuff Sharna :)
