We are big fans of The Good Loaf Sourdough Bakery & Cafe. From the mismatched retro chairs and tables outside, to the customer's toaster (choose how light/dark you want your toast), it just feels like an all round friendly place. In fact, the building literally is completely round, which just adds to its quirky charm. Perfectly situated for parking and shopping, but without feeling like you're in the middle of the weekend craziness...take a seat outside on a summer morning for brekky (or warm up inside for lunch during the cooler months)...you'll be spoilt for choice with the fresh bakery fare. The bread is...amazing. There are no other words. Baked on site, people travel to Bendigo for this real deal sourdough. Our favourite thing to do when we're not eating in is drop past and pick up lunch on the way home. We still order the same thing every single time because we are in love with it and can't bring ourselves to move on! Pumpkin bread (you haven't lived until you've had this bread, I'm not joking) sandwiches...one roast beef, one chicken/avocado. Swap halves so you get one of each, and finish with a carrot cake cupcake.
